Collection Instructions:
1. Clotted blood or an insufficient specimen is not acceptable.
2. Tube should remain stoppered.

2. If oral anticoagulant therapy is elected to prevent recurrent myocardial infarction, an INR of 2.5 to 3.5 is recommended, consistent with the Food and Drug Administration recommendations.
