This test is not used for routine therapeutic drug level monitoring but is useful for evaluating severity of intoxications.

Specimen Type: Plasma

Container/Tube: Mint green

Specimen Volume: 2 mL

Therapeutic concentration: 10-20 mcg/L

Toxic concentration (automatic call-back): ≥50 mcg/L

Samples with concentrations outside of the analytical range will be reported as follows:

<5 μg/mL or >1000 μg/mL for plasma/serum
