Specimen Requirements
Specimen must arrive within 24 hours of draw.
Specimen Type: Whole blood
Container/Tube: 10 mL Red/gray top (SST)
Specimen Volume: ADULT/CHILDREN -Full tube (10 mL) INFANT- 2-3 mL minimum
Additional Information:
1. Do not refrigerate.
2. Renal dialysis patients should always be drawn before dialysis procedure.

Reference Values
Normal: negative
A positive result indicates the presence of IgG anti-HLA antibodies to either Class I or Class II antigens.
Results are reported as percent positive reactions.
