Submit only 1 of the following specimens:
Preferred:
Specimen Type: Plasma
Container/Tube: Lavender EDTA
Specimen Volume: 3 mL
Collection Instructions: Label specimen as EDTA plasma.
Additional Information:
1. Date of draw is required.
2. Performance has not been established using cadaver.
3. The following specimens will not be tested:
a. Heat-treated, hemolyzed, icteric, or lipemic
b. Containing particulate matter, precipitate, RBCs, or sodium azide
4. Must spin down and pour off within 2 hours of collection!
Alternate: (If used, will not be sent for confirmation)
Specimen Type: Plasma
Container/Tube: Light-green top (lithium heparin)
Specimen Volume: 3 mL
Collection Instructions: Label specimen as plasma.
